On July 26, 2007, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) adopted a regulation that will require significant reduction in emissions for off road diesel vehicles. This regulation affects all companies that build and maintain our State's infrastructure. The regulation is aimed at reducing particulate matter (PM) and NOx emitted from these vehicles to reduce premature deaths and to meet Federal Clean Air standards.
